Check Out “Tottenham have verbally agreed to buy Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario for £17.2million” After Spurs decided not to meet Brentford’s asking price of £40 million for David Raya, it would appear that their focus has shifted to acquiring the services of the 26-year-old player.

talkSPORT broke the news earlier this month that the north London club was interested in signing shot-stopper Raya, who has one more year remaining on his contract with the Bees.

And despite the fact that the player’s personal terms are not a point of contention between the club and the player, we explained to you how Spurs were attempting to drive down the price tag on the Spanish midfielder.

It would appear that Brentford has not been ready to bend on the valuation that they have placed on Raya, which has caused Tottenham to explore elsewhere.

Gianluca Di Marzio, an Italian reporter, claims that Tottenham Hotspur have swiftly reached a verbal agreement with a Serie A side regarding Vicario’s transfer.

Former Man City striker Edin Dzeko is set to sign for Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

The Bosnian international player left the Etihad Stadium in 2015 and went on to have successful stints with Roma and Inter Milan in Italy. While playing for Inter Milan, he won the Serie A title as well as two Coppa Italia championships.

The forward is still scoring consistently at the age of 37, having netted 31 goals and contributed 15 assists in his two seasons at Inter. This demonstrates the extraordinary longevity he has shown throughout his career.

And now he is moving his career to the Turkish Super Lig, with Fenerbahce announcing this morning on Twitter that he is scheduled to have his medical examination before signing on a free transfer.

The following is an excerpt from a statement released by the club: “World-famous striker Edin Dzeko will come to Istanbul to pass the health checks and complete the transfer negotiations.”
