Read Up “Southampton rejected West Ham’s ‘take it or leave it’ £30million deal for James Ward-Prowse.” The Hammers’ chase of the Saints captain appears to be ended after their final offer for the midfielder was rejected because Southampton insisted on keeping their £40 million asking price.

David Moyes is reportedly still eager to pursue the interest, though. The manager’s influence at the club is about to be put to the test because Ward-Prowse is rumored to be keen on the move to the London Stadium.

Southampton has responded, and it is what we anticipated, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.

“We predicted that Southampton would maintain its valuation this morning, and they are doing so.

“I’m informed that Southampton has declined the deal, which was for £27 million up front and could have increased to £30 million with add-ons.

West Ham’s interest in James Ward Prowse will end if they keep their word, but it remains to be seen whether this was only a negotiation ploy or an actual threat.

However, it is understood that David Moyes is still interested in the player.

Romelu Lukaku’s transfer from Chelsea to Juventus in exchange for Dusan Vlahovic has run into a very significant block.

After determining that Lukaku does not have a future at Stamford Bridge, the Blues are said to have held discussions on a player-plus-cash deal with the European giants, according to reports out of Italy.

However, Chelsea has only given fifty percent of the additional transfer money that Juventus is requesting for its striker, who is 23 years old.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea has made an offer for Vlahovic that includes Lukaku and £17 million (€20 million), but Juventus is reportedly requesting £34 million (€40 million) for the trade to be finalized.

It has been reported that negotiations are set to resume, despite the fact that the clubs’ respective values of the player are €20 million apart.
