Although his contract at the Emirates Stadium expires in 2025, he is eager to go and play in the Premier League, as reported by the Evening Standard.

During his tenure as Saints’ manager, Russell Martin, Wood played in 40 Championship games for the Welsh team.

Lewis, the sixth summer signing at St. James’ Park, will wear shirt number 20 and is a Newcastle United fan.

Lewis stated he was proud. My family and I are Newcastle fans, and my brother and I were raised to be Newcastle. I’m excited to join this enormous group.

I gained a lot of experience in important games last year and was happy of my growth as a player and person. I’m honored and thrilled to wear this shirt at Newcastle, my childhood club.
