Leicester’s left-sided defender Luke Thomas has expressed a desire to play first-team football and is considering whether or not to investigate the idea of going out on loan.

Despite returning to the club this summer as the victor of the U21 European Championship, the England U21 international has not yet been given a game under the direction of the club’s new manager, Enzo Maresca.

Callum Doyle has started at left back for the Foxes in each of their opening three Championship matches. This puts Thomas in tough competition for a starting spot with the Foxes.

At the King Power Stadium, Thomas’s current employment agreement has one more year to run.

According to rumours, Mason Greenwood may receive an offer of £10 million per year to sign with Al-Ettifaq, a Saudi Pro League team.

After conducting an internal inquiry in response to Greenwood’s arrest in January 2022, the Red Devils have determined that there is no longer a place for him at Old Trafford.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) dismissed all charges against the 21-year-old player earlier this year, and The Sun reports that the Saudi club that Steven Gerrard manages is interested in signing him.

There are also rumors that the Turkish powerhouses Galatasary have joined the competition for Greenwood.

United is in the process of considering whether to terminate the forward’s contract and come to an agreement on a settlement, or whether to let him depart through the transfer market.
