The French striker, who has struggled with injuries and only scored once this season in the EFL Cup victory against Crystal Palace, is a target that United is aggressively trying to sell.

Due to Martial’s high salary and contract expiration at the end of the current campaign, the Red Devils are willing to take a small price.

He signed a record-breaking £57 million contract to join United from Monaco in 2015, but in his nine seasons at Old Trafford, he has not lived up to the high asking price.

According to, Martial attracted attention from the Saudi Pro-League throughout the summer.

Shelvey Put his plans on hold

Even though Jonjo Shelvey moved to Nottingham Forest in January of this year after leaving Newcastle United, his family still resides on Tyneside.

The former midfielder for Liverpool is currently on loan at Cayku Rizespor. However, he intends to move back to Newcastle and stay there for the remainder of his days.

Shelvey joined the team from Swansea and spent seven years at St James’ Park. Despite a few contentious moments, he became a huge fan favorite.

Furthermore, he acknowledged that he is now a Newcastle fan.

“I simply enjoy being a fan now and watching the games and knowing they are my pals and they are out there doing it for the city that my family lives in and the club that I support,” he said in an interview with the Evening Chronicle.

It’s likely that we’ll remain there for the remainder of our lives. “It affects you in that way.”
