Check Out “Brentford signed teenage South Korean defender Ji-soo Kim on a four-year contract with a 12-month extension.” The 18-year-old will join the Bees’ B team after moving from K League Two outfit Seongnam.

The highly regarded center back was the subject of a statement from Brentford director of football Phil Giles to the club’s website. Giles said: “Ji-soo is an excellent prospect who was in demand from many teams in Europe this summer.

It’s a huge tribute to Lee Dykes and the recruitment staff that we were able to sign him because he recently gave a really strong performance at the U20 World Cup.

As with all of our B-team players, Ji-soo will earn the opportunity to train and play with the first team based on his performances. We will give him as much time as he needs to learn English, adjust to life in England, and grow into our club on the B squad.
