Nathan Redmond’s signing by Burnley has been announced.

The 29-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the option for a third year, having left Turkish club Besiktas earlier this summer.

Redmond signed for Besiktas last September after more than six years at Southampton.

He made 28 appearances for the Super Lig giants last season, contributing six goals and six assists.

But after one year in Turkey he has sealed a move back to the Premier League newly-promoted Burnley, with Redmond the Clarets’ fifth signing this summer as they prepare for their top flight return.

According to rumor’s, Leicester City has offered Kelechi Iheanacho to a number of Premier League clubs this summer.

The 26-year-old striker, whose contract at the King Power Stadium has one year remaining, has been linked to Everton as a potential target.

Following their relegation from the Premier League, the Foxes are eager to sell the forward, who is reportedly valued between £10 million and £15 million.

Harvey Barnes will sign a £30 million deal to join Newcastle this week, and James Maddison has already been sold to Tottenham for £40 million.

According to The Daily Mail, Iheanacho is the next player Leicester wants to move on from and they have contacted several top-flight clubs about a potential deal for the striker.

In 35 appearances across all competitions last season, the former Man City star scored eight goals and provided five assists.

His best performance came during the 2020–21 season, when he scored 19 goals and led Leicester to the FA Cup championship.
