Check Out “Stuart Pearce believes Tottenham might lose almost 20 points without Harry Kane this season.” After entering the final year of his contract with Spurs and refusing to sign a new one, the striker has become one of the most talked-about players during the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old’s top suitors are Bayern Munich, but the north London club is obviously hesitant to part with its star player at any price.

Pearce, who appeared on talkSPORT Drive with Andy Goldstein, thinks that if Tottenham wants to sell the player, they must demand a British record price of at least £105 million.

When asked if Harry Kane’s future determines Tottenham’s season, Pearce responded, “It’ll go a long way.

“At the beginning of every season, you examine your team, go over it, and determine how many goals you have in your lineup. Each goal translates to roughly one point.

“The likelihood that a team will be in or around 70 points at the end of the season is increased if you look at the league standings and they have scored 70 goals.

“By losing Harry Kane, you’re taking a lot of goals out of your team.”
