Check Out “Jermaine Pennant feels Manchester United have been “a little bit cheeky” in pursuing Mason Mount.” The Red Devils have made Mount their first priority when it comes to making a transfer this summer, but they have not been able to make any headway in the negotiations so far because Mount has turned down all three of their bids.

Pennant believes that Chelsea are completely right to hold out for the 24-year-old player’s actual value rather than being coerced into selling on the cheap owing to the fact that he is under contract with another club, even though the pursuit of Chelsea by Manchester United isn’t yet done.

Pennant said the following when he was interviewed by talkSPORT: “He’s in the last year of his contract, but also, he’s a wonderful player.

“If we’re talking about the numbers that have been tossed around—£120 million for Bellingham, £100 million for Declan Rice—then I believe Chelsea is justified to hold out for more, for his value.

If you’re looking at £50 million for James Ward-Prowse, who is getting valued at that in the Championship at Southampton, then £55 million for Mount would be a steal, a bargain in my view. “I like to put things in perspective.

“Players with an attacking mentality are always valued that little bit higher as well, so Chelsea are holding out for the right value, and I think that Manchester United are just trying to be a little bit cheeky to get him as cheap as chips,” said the reporter. “Attacking-minded players are always valued that little bit higher as well.”

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho appears to have let slip that he will be reuniting with Chelsea forward Kai Havertz at the Emirates.

It is believed that the Gunners have reached an agreement with Chelsea on a price for the versatile German player that rises to £65 million.

It would appear that it is only a question of time before the north London club makes the announcement on the signing.

It would appear like Havertz will be reuniting with Jorginho, who played with the Blues before he was traded to their city rivals in January.

The couple is now in Spain, where they are attending the wedding of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to Andrea Martinez, who competed in the Miss Universe Spain pageant in the past. The wedding is taking place alongside a number of former and current Chelsea players.

Jorginho uploaded a photo of the two of them giggling together in a cheeky Instagram picture that he published to his story and accompanied with four eye emojis.

While a deal for Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz is moving through, Ilkay Gundogan’s projected transfer to Barcelona has now been made official.

Gundogan always appeared to have his heart set on making the transfer to Spain, and although the Gunners, Manchester City, and clubs from Saudi Arabia all offered him a contract, he chose to sign with a Spanish club.

Gundogan has agreed to a contract that will last for two years and includes a buyout clause of 400 million euros.

After failing to secure the services of the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Arsenal will now shift their attention to concluding the transaction involving Havertz.
