Nigeria’s forthcoming friendly against the Black Stars of Ghana and the Eagles of Mali will not feature Victor Osimhen. Osimhen did not play in Napoli’s 1-1 tie with Inter Milan, the top team in Serie A, on Sunday. In the days leading up to the match, the striker hardly practiced.

Tyrone Ebuehi will miss time due to an injury, Serie A club Empoli has confirmed. Due to the setback, Ebuehi will also miss Nigeria’s next friendly against the Black Stars of Ghana and the Eagles of Mali.

During Empoli’s 1-0 home loss to Bologna on Friday, the adaptable full-back suffered the injury. After starting the match on the bench, the 28-year-old replaced Emmanuel Gyasi at the 66-minute mark.
