Check out “Francis Uzoho apologizes for criticizing his “loyal fans.”Francis Uzoho, the Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, has a reputation for not playing at his peak right now, particularly in the team’s most recent friendly match against Mozambique.

During the friendly encounter which took place in Portugal on October 16, 2023, Francis Uzoho conceded a very cheap goal as the Super Eagles struggled to beat Mozambique who played with a man fewer for the last 45 minutes.

Uzoho, who plays for Omonia in the Cypriot First Division, was criticized online and offline after the friendly match. Many Super Eagles fans wondered why coach Jose Pasiero kept inviting and starting the 24-year-old goalie.

Francis Uzoho posted a photo of himself on his Snapchat account on Tuesday along with the pidgin message, “If easy go do am, make oyibo man sign you,” along with a peace emoji in response to the outpouring of criticism.

Salah Criticizes Israel-Ghaza Crisis

Mohamed Salah, who is under contract with Liverpool, bemoaned “too much violence, heartbreak, and brutality” in his post on X on Wednesday after the conflict intensified earlier this month.

Following an attack by Hamas, the principal militant organization in Palestine, which resulted in the deaths of over 1,400 people and the kidnapping of several others, tensions between Israel and Gaza intensified.

Israel is said to have carried out airstrikes in Gaza in reprisal for the extraordinary onslaught, which resulted in 3,000 dead. According to health officials, a Tuesday night blast at a crowded hospital in Gaza City claimed hundreds of lives.

Furthermore, Palestinian authorities asserted that an Israeli airstrike was responsible for the explosion at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital. The militant group denied that the event was caused by a misfired rocket launch by Palestinian Islamic Jihad, as claimed by the Israeli military.

Mohamed Salah bemoaned the “horrifying” scenes at the hospital and called for “humanity” to triumph in response to the tragedy there. In a video uploaded to X, Salah declared, “The people of Gaza need food, water, and medical supplies urgently.”

“Every life is valuable and has to be safeguarded. The massacres must end. Families are breaking up. “I am urging world leaders to unite in order to stop the continued killing of defenseless people.”

The Algerian Football Federation has called off all football matches and competitions “in solidarity with the Palestinian people” due to the ongoing conflict.
