Check Out “Despite Declan Rice, Mikel Arteta believes Thomas Partey will stay at Arsenal this summer.” The Ghanaian midfielder has been linked with a move to Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia, but Arteta has stated that he will continue to play an important role in the club’s future.

Before Saturday’s preseason match against Manchester United in New Jersey, Arteta said the following: “Without a shadow of a doubt, Thomas Partey is an extremely important player for both our team and for me.” I really want him to be a part of our team.

“Every time I’ve had a conversation with him and every time I’ve spoken to him, his desire has been to continue living with us,” I said. There is absolutely nothing there that I can see.

He stated that Partey’s function would not be diminished in any way as a result of the arrival of Rice.

He stated, “They can play together and that was in my plans,” implying that the interaction was possible. “You want to make the team better and have more high-caliber members.

“We need players who are able to play together, but we also need players in the same position who are able to compete with one another for their positions.”

“It’s something that we haven’t had over the course of the last few years, and we wanted to improve that, so that’s why we bought Declan.”
