Cape Verde vs Togo – Betting Analysis

While they’ll be hoping to break their losing streak and get their season back on track, they’ll first have to face a team that has won their past two away games. After losing the lead twice in a 2-2 draw with Eswatini on Thursday, Togo were denied a first-day victory in the tournament.

Nhlanla Ngwenya equalized for Mbabane Swallows in the 95th minute, while Kodjo Fo Doh Laba put the Sparrow Hawks ahead in the 87th minute. After a 1-0 setback to Namibia in the World Cup qualifiers in September 2021, Paulo Duarte’s side have already won three and drew four of their previous seven matches across all competitions since then.

After losing four and drawing three of their past seven African Nations Championship qualifiers, Togo have scored five goals and given up 10 in that period.
