Check Out “After rejecting Romelu Lukaku’s return, Inter Milan are pursuing Folarin Balogun, according to Italian publications.” Inter have abandoned their pursuit of re-signing Lukaku because, according to reports, the Belgian striker has been in communication with Inter’s primary rivals Juventus regarding a prospective transfer to Turin. This has apparently made the Serie A giants angry.

This information was first shared by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio earlier today, and now it is being reported that Arsenal striker Balogun is on their list of potential alternative targets.

The CEO of Inter, Beppe Marotta, and the Sporting Director of Inter, Piero Ausilio, are rumored to be major supporters of Balogun, who had a wonderful season on loan at Reims last year, scoring 21 goals in 37 games for the French club.

The 22-year-old only recently transferred his allegiance from England to the United States in order to obtain more playing time, and it is generally known that he wants to leave the Gunners for a more prominent role elsewhere as well. The switch in allegiance was done in order to get more playing time.
