Check out “AFCON 2023: Moffi replaces injured Boniface in Super Eagles..” Terem Moffi, a forward for OGC Nice, will replace Victor Boniface in the Super Eagles’ lineup for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Boniface will not be competing in the 2023 AFCON finals due to a groin injury he sustained during training. The 23-year-old will probably miss six weeks of action.

The former Union St. Gilloise forward will now take a flight back to Germany to start his injury recovery.

In order to register Moffi for the AFCON, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) must now wait for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to provide its clearance.

It was shocking to see the 24-year-old left out of the Super Eagles’ final roster. In 12 games, he has netted four goals for the three-time African champions.

Robin Koch has joined Eintracht Frankfurt permanently from Leeds. After the Whites’ Premier League relegation, the 27-year-old joined the Bundesliga on loan last summer.

The dynamic centre-back has signed a long-term contract with Deutsche Bank Park until 2027. Koch, who played 77 times for Leeds in three years, said, “I’m pleased with my first six months at Eintracht.

I have so much fun every day and feel extremely settled here. Everything is as expected. Extending my contract beyond the loan period makes sense for me and my career. “I want to be successful and take responsibility here.

“We have a lot to do, but I’m optimistic we’ll reach our goals. I look forward to the future and an exciting second half of the season.”

An update on Henderson

There have been no offers or questions made regarding the midfielder Jordan Henderson for the Saudi team Al Ettifaq as of yet.

The England international’s teammates do not want to let him go, and they will demand that if he leaves on loan, a possible suitor pays his entire wage in addition to a fee.

It is also believed that Henderson leaving on a long-term contract is improbable because Al Ettifaq would want to receive their entire investment back in addition to a sizeable return of about £5–£6 million.

Henderson’s sale would benefit Liverpool greatly as well because the Reds have a strong sell-on clause that could bring in up to £2 million.
