Check Out “According to rumors, Chelsea have signed Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.” According to David Ornstein, the 25-year-old Spaniard will fly to London to have his physical with the Blues.

Following the departure of Edouard Mendy to Saudi Arabia earlier in the summer transfer window, Chelsea is bringing in Sanchez to compete with No. 1 goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Last season, Sanchez played in 23 Premier League games for Brighton until losing his starting position to Jason Steele in March. Manager Roberto De Zerbi had decided that Steele was more suited to his style of play, which involves playing it out from the back.

The goalkeeper is about to complete a transfer from the south coast club to join Chelsea after choosing not to go with the Seagulls team on their preseason tour of the United States.
