Werner zeroes focus on the Spurs action
All sports predictions say Timo Werner will join Tottenham on loan tonight. The RB Leipzig forward will join Spurs till the end of the season with a £15 million buyout option.
It comes as a surprise that Werner has decided to leave Chelsea, given his previous failures in the Premier League during his two years with the club.
Before returning to Leipzig, the German international scored 23 goals in 89 Blues appearances in all competitions. But Ange Postecoglou looks to have identified him as a genuine offensive option for the rest of the campaign.
To complete the transfer, Werner will visit his new team on Monday. He is their first acquisition of the January transfer window.

Dier to Bayern could benefit from Dragusin to Tottenham
Radu Dragusin’s move to Tottenham could let Eric Dier join Bayern. Ange Postecoglou’s team wants a new centre-back this month because of injury concerns.
Micky van de Ven and Alfie Dorrington are their only fit midfield defenders, making Dragusin a key target. Bayern has talked to Dier regarding a January move, and both may happen.
“He may join Bayern Munich, which would be wonderful for him as they push for another Bundesliga title and Champions League.
“He agreed, but Bayern never approached. Today, Germany claimed that Tottenham is negotiating with Genoa for Radu Dragusin. “If Tottenham acquires Dragusin, Bayern will want Eric Dier more.”
