World Championships: Tobi Amusan of Nigeria twice breaks world records

Tobi Amusan of Nigeria won the 100-meter hurdles event at the World Championships in spectacular fashion early on Monday by twice setting World Records.

Team Nigeria finished their competition at the World Championships in Oregon on a spectacular note by winning a gold and a silver medal on the final day of competition. Her victory and another outstanding performance by Ese Brume meant that after working hard all week without having anything to show for it, they had something to show for it.

The Nigerian medals were won by the team of Tobi Amusan and Ese Brume, who performed jaw-droppingly and in style.

In the 100m hurdles, Amusan twice broke the World Record before winning the title, while Brume had to work extremely hard to earn silver in the long jump.

Many anticipated that Amusan would achieve greater things in the semi-final after breaking her African Record during the heats, but not the World Record, according to PREMIUM TIMES.
