Reports that the Brazilian legend Pele is receiving palliative care have been refuted by Pele’s family.
The Pele family of the legendary Brazilian footballer has stated that they are “weary” of receiving condolences.
The three-time World Cup champion is reportedly receiving palliative care while in the hospital, although his daughter Flavia refuted this.
His 82-year-old father had COVID three weeks prior, which resulted in some respiratory issues, according to another of his daughters, Kely.
She clarified, however, that he is “not saying goodbye” and that, after he has recovered, he would “come returning home.”
The sixth World Cup victory for Brazil this year, according to Pele’s grandson Arthur, would be enjoyed by his grandfather who still enjoys watching football.
