Roma vs Bodo/Glimt –  This will be the fourth time these two squads have faced off in the same competition. And the previous three had all devolved into goal-fests. With a spot to the semi-finals on the line, the two are anticipated to compete in a similar manner at the Stadio Olimpico.

These two teams have developed a rivalry since Bodo defeated Roma 6-1 in their group stage match in October. Tomorrow’s matchup is expected to be intense, and thus a high-scoring game.

Roma vs Bodo/Glimt – Betting Analysis

Roma had won three of their previous four games overall, and had gone undefeated in ten of their previous eleven games. In addition, they had won five of their previous eight home games.

Bodo, on the other side, is on a two-game winning streak and has won nine of their previous eleven games. They’ve also gone eight months without losing on the road.  Finally, these two teams have a history of combining to produce goal-fests. The Stadio Olimpico appears to be set for a high-scoring match.

In the last five months, Roma has only lost once against four clubs, three of which were Inter, AC Milan, and Juventus. And they’ve only lost three times at home this season. These losses occurred against the finest teams in Italy, including Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter. In the meantime, Bodo’s last road loss was in August.

The teams meet for the second leg in the Eternal City, separated by a late goal in Glimt‘s 2-1 success over the Serie A side last week—their second consecutive home victory against the Serie A side. The last leg of this four-part epic clash between two unlikely opponents will take place in Italy, giving the hosts a minor advantage in the second leg.

With nothing to lose, the Giallorossi will be put under a lot of pressure, but with enough firepower to score twice, they should be able to force extra time and even penalties.
