Los Beticos have done an excellent job in this transfer window, bringing in two high-profile players in Willian Jose and Luis Henrique.
The former joined Estadio Benito Villamarin from fellow La Liga club Real Socoiedad for just €10 million, while the latter (one of the best players in the Brazilian Serie A in recent years) joined from Fluminense for €8 million.
With the additions of Nabil Fekir and Borja Iglesias, Betis now has excellent firepower in the final third.
Iglesias scored in the team’s final preseason friendly last weekend, a 3-1 victory over Fiorentina of Italy’s Serie A.
Betis are heavy favorites here against Elche, who struggled on the road throughout the season last time out in La Liga.
In the previous La Liga season, Elche lost 12 of their 19 league away games. They also struggled in pre-season friendlies this summer, losing two of the last three games to FC Vartagena and Ibiza.
Real Betis vs Elche Betting Analysis
Real Betis have been very impressive offensively in their recent pre-season matches, scoring five goals against Real Zaragoza and Fiorentina.
