Man City Women vs. B’ham Women – A 12th straight win in all games is what Manchester City Women want to achieve on Wednesday when they host Birmingham City Women at the Etihad.
Visitor teams will be kicked out of the Women’s Super League if they don’t get three points at the Academy Stadium.

It’s a fight between Man City and their local rivals, Manchester United, for the third and last Champions League spot.

In the league, the Citizens are in fourth place, one point behind the Red Devils. Gareth Taylor’s team could move back into the top three with a win on Wednesday, though. In their last 11 games, Man City has won seven of them.

For the fifth time in their last six games, the Citizens have scored at least four goals in a game. On Saturday, the Citizens beat Aston Villa 7-2.
Khadija Shaw scored four of those goals, while Caroline Weir, Alex Greenwood, and Lauren Hemp also scored. A few more performances like that would secure Man City Champions League football for next season, and that would be a great thing for the team.

Leicester City are also fighting for survival in the WSL, but Birmingham are five points behind the Foxes. Even though they have played one more game than the Foxes have, Birmingham is still behind them.

Man City Women vs. B’ham Women – Betting Analysis

Man City and Aston Villa must both be defeated by Blues if they want to avoid the drop. Leicester must lose points against Tottenham Hotspur on the last day of the season.

Darren Carter’s team has shown that they can fight in their last three games, taking four points from games against Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion before losing to title-chasers Chelsea on Sunday.

Chelsea needed a penalty kick from Pernille Harder in the 71st minute to beat the Blues 1-0. Even though Birmingham played against one of the best teams in England, the fight will be of little comfort to a desperate team.

If Birmingham want to beat Man City on Wednesday, they need to do something they haven’t done since the end of 2020. They need to win two away WSL games in a row.
