On their anniversary, Khafi took to Instagram to post a heartfelt message to her partner, declaring her undying love and gratitude. Thanks be to God for my husband, I say. I’m grateful for the person he is and the person he’s still becoming in you.

Thank you, Lord, for allowing our paths to cross in your perfect timing and for choosing us to walk alongside one another on this journey we call life.

Khafi and Gedoni

Thank you for blessing his hands and heart, and for allowing us to work with you on the plans you’ve laid out for us, I pray. I hope he’ll be welcomed with open arms and wonder in every room he enters. It’s my prayer that every time he opens his lips to speak, you’ll speak into it.

I pray that he keeps you at the forefront of his life, even before us, his partner, and their children, and that he never forgets that he should kneel before you before he can stand before men.

I ask that you continue to help him lead our family, provide for our family, and love us in the lovely way he does. As I pray for him, I hope he never gets distracted from the task you’ve given him and his role as an incredible father to our children and a loving and supportive partner to me.

My husband’s life is in your hands, God. Let nothing bad happen to him, and let the enemy’s plans fall apart before they even get off the ground. In order to see our grandchildren’s children in good well being, I pray that you, Lord God, bless my husband with long life and wealth.

Let us be strengthened in our love and our connection by your presence, so that we may overcome any challenge together. The best way to deal with our disagreements is not to take it out on each other, but to join forces and overcome any obstacles in our path as a team.

Please protect my husband in your grace, allow him to enjoy returning to his family, and grant me the resources I need to support him and love him with all of my heart. Let us reaffirm our bond with one another as your children, Lord. We’re here for you.

Help me to have a good marriage, Lord. May the blessings of our union and the ones that came before them reach as many people as possible. We pray that our love will last for generations to come.

“It’s been three years since the day we realized we were destined to be together, #Khadoniversary 7/7. Pray for my man is all I really feel called to do.
