Frank Gore, a five-time Pro Bowl running back, has been charged with simple assault after allegedly dragging a naked 28-year-old woman across an Atlantic City hotel hallway last month.

The alleged incident occurred at the end of last month when officers were called to a dispute at the Tropicana Casino’s Havana Tower in Atlantic City. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Gore ‘forcibly’ gripped the woman’s hair before ‘violently dragging her nude person along the floor of the 59th hallway.’

Police and New Jersey criminal court spokespeople did not immediately respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com.

 

‘On July 31, 2022, at 8:11 a.m., patrol units were dispatched to Tropicana Atlantic City for a report of a domestic violence dispute,’ read a statement from the Atlantic City police department.

‘Officers arrived to find the victim, a 28-year-old woman from Miami, Florida, speaking with hotel security,’ said the report.

‘The victim showed no signs of injury, and no complaints were filed at the time.’

Frank Gore (No. 25), a five-time Pro Bowl running back, has been charged with simple assault.

However, following an investigation, Franklin Gore was charged with simple assault in connection with the domestic violence incident.

‘Gore was issued a summons to appear in court at a later date.’

The 39-year-old played in the NFL for 16 seasons, the majority of which he spent with the San Francisco 49ers.
Gore also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets.

Gore set a record with 241 running back appearances in 2020 and 16,000 rushing yards in a career that included stops with the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets.

He retired from football in June after a one-day contract with the 49ers and has since moved into boxing.
In December of last year, Gore faced former NBA player Deron Williams in an exhibition fight on the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley.
The NFL player was defeated in a split decision at Tampa’s Amalie Arena.
Gore, on the other hand, won his first professional fight in May, knocking out Yaya Olorunsola in the fourth round.

Ray Rice, a former Baltimore Ravens running back, and his then-fiancée (now wife) were arrested in February 2014 after an altercation at an Atlantic City casino.

 

Gore retired from football in June and has since entered the boxing ring, fighting twice.
