Fiorentina vs Basaksehir – In their most recent league game, Fiorentina fell to Inter in a heartbreaking 4-3 defeat that, in the words of their angry manager Vincenzo Italiano, was decided by “another dubious refereeing decision.” They will attempt to recover here by winning in UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) play, as they did in their two most recent victories in the tournament, both of which came right after losses at home.

Fiorentina scored eight goals against Hearts in their two head-to-head meetings (W2), so another victory here would guarantee their place in the group’s top two. Fiorentina recovered well from a disappointing start to their UECL campaign thanks to that, and they now sit second with a four-point lead over Hearts. This is far from a given, though, as they have only won twice in their last seven home games (D3, L2), including a depressing 1-1 tie with Latvian minnows RFS.

Fiorentina vs Basaksehir – Betting Analysis

especially considering that they will be playing Group A leaders Istanbul Başakşehir, who have yet to lose in the UECL this season (W7, D3 including qualifiers). The Turkish team is the favorite to get at least a point, which would guarantee first rank in the group as they are three points ahead of their rivals and the only team without a goal conceded in this year’s campaign.

Başakşehir has lost their previous four competitive games, one of which being in Süper Lig action against Fenerbahçe on Saturday, but there is still optimism for the home team (1-0). However, considering that was their first loss in a competitive road game since March (W8, D4), they were an unwanted visitor at the Viola.

Watch out for: Luka Jovi, who has scored three goals in his last five games, two of which have been in Fiorentina’s victory in the UECL. Stefano Okaka, a striker for Başakşehir, has scored five UECL goals so far, three of them came after halftime (including qualifiers)
