Check out “Far better than the Red Devil you know”. With the signing of a contract extension, Erik Ten Hag will continue to manage Manchester United through June 2026. United has announced that a new contract has been signed, despite much conjecture and club conversations over the Red Devils’ potential management change.

Despite overseeing a dismal Premier League season, Ten Hag was able to win the FA Cup trophy with a stunning victory over Manchester City, the league champion and local rivals. Furthermore, the Dutchman acknowledged that winning additional trophies was at the top of his priority list.

“I’m thrilled that we have an agreement with the club to carry on working together,” he stated. We can proudly look back on the last two years and see two trophies as well as several instances of our improvement since my joining.

“But we also have to be honest: in order to perform to the standards Manchester United expects of us—that is, to contend for English and European championships—we still have a long way to go.

“We have found total unity in our vision for achieving those goals, and we are all firmly committed to making that journey together,” the club representative said in their conversation with me.

Real Madrid Renews Antonio Pintus Contract

Two important members of Real Madrid’s coaching staff, Luis Llopis, the goalie coach, and Antonio Pintus, the fitness coach, have had their contracts extended. This development shows how crucial these two coaches have become to the team; it was first reported by MARCA and later confirmed by club sources for Managing Madrid.

The contracts of Pintus and Llopis were about to expire. Nevertheless, the club chose to retain them because of their significant accomplishments. Interestingly, when Carlo Ancelotti rejoined the team in 2021, neither coach had been a member of his former squad. Rather, Real Madrid requested that Ancelotti retain them, and for the past three seasons, this has rewarded out handsomely.

Ancelotti’s admiration for their work has grown significantly. Pintus is renowned for his intense workout regimens, which have allowed the team to stay in top physical shape, while Llopis has played a significant role in helping Madrid’s goalkeepers, such as Keylor Navas and Thibaut Courtois, advance their skills.

This choice is in line with Real Madrid’s strategy of seeking continuity and stability in their coaching staff in order to build on their 2023–24 season success.

The Castle’s New King

Away from Euro 2024, Newcastle United has revealed that Paul Mitchell will take over as their new sporting director, replacing Dan Ashworth. After searching for a successor for Dan Ashworth for more than six months, Newcastle United has finally located him.

In February, Ashworth announced his decision to join Manchester United, and Newcastle put him on gardening leave. Following months of negotiations, Manchester United and Newcastle United finally agreed on Ashworth last week.

He started working at Old Trafford on July 1st, and a few days later, it was reported that he would be replaced at St James’ Park. After extensive talks with Mitchell, Newcastle first looked elsewhere in an attempt to sign Dougie Freedman of Crystal Palace, but he turned down the chance to visit St. James’ Park in south london and inked a new deal.
