Exeter vs. Barrow – Exeter City welcome Barrow in Tuesday’s League Two match at St James’ Park, The hosts overcame Sutton United 1-0, while Matt Taylor’s team won 2-0 against Rochdale.  Forest Green Rovers have already broken out the ribbons and champagne, and Exeter City might join them Wednesday if they beat Rochdale.

Exeter beat Rochdale 2-0 when Timothee Dieng and Matt Jay scored either side of half-time, ending their 10-year hiatus from English football’s third division.  The hosts might even go first if results and goals go their way in midweek, when Forest Green play Swindon Town, but a win would ensure they were not caught by Northampton Town before their match on Saturday.

Exeter City enter Tuesday’s game unbeaten at home in League Two in 2022, having won their last four at St James Park, scoring two goals each time, and Barrow have an uphill task to stop the Grecians’ promotion party ,But after beating Sutton United with ten men at the weekend, Barrow can look forward to another season in League Two.

Just a minute after John Rooney had put Barrow ahead, Josh Kay was sent out for two bookable offences, but Rob Milsom’s penalty was saved by Paul Farman.  A fan was detained at the end of the game for allegedly racially abusing a visiting player, but Brown’s side did enough on the pitch to ensure their survival as Oldham Athletic lost to Salford City.

Exeter vs. Barrow – Betting Analysis

Barrow earned seven points from the previous nine available in League Two, including a 4-0 thrashing of Forest Green Rovers, and held Exeter to a goalless draw in August.

Barrow can afford to play fearlessly in the remaining few games of the season, but away performances remain a concern for the visitors . Meanwhile, Exeter are dominating at home and will be determined to finish the job before hosting Northampton on Tuesday night.
