Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at Manchester United, according to Erik ten Hag, who only received a “obscene” offer from a Saudi Arabian club.

As no significant offers from Champions League clubs have been made to Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo will remain there for the remainder of the season.

The superstar Portuguese player has made it clear that he wants to leave Old Trafford before the transfer window closes, but he is running out of time to find a new home.

It appears that he will have to put up with staying at United for a little while longer since the window closed on Thursday and there are no offers on the table.

Erik ten Hag has consistently insisted that he wants to keep Ronaldo at the club, and on Wednesday, he gave his word that he will.

Ten Hag said: “It’s clear, of course, in his press conference. We require talented athletes. We work to provide more and coverage of all the games in order to maintain consistency.

The Athletic claim that no significant offers from clubs that can guarantee Champions League football have been made to the Red Devils.

His desire to leave has been motivated by the fact that he will be playing outside of Europe’s top competition for the first time in his career.

Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia is the only official party to have contacted United, and their proposal has been labeled as “obscene.”
