Colombia vs Bolivia – Colombia’s bid for the World Cup in Qatar has been significantly harmed by back-to-back defeats to Peru and Argentina.

Reinaldo Rueda’s team has dropped to seventh place in the South American World Cup Qualification table, five points behind fourth-placed Uruguay and four points behind fifth-placed Peru (which leads to the inter-continental playoffs).

Colombia’s qualifying campaign has been abysmal, with only three victories in 16 matches thus far.

They do, however, have a chance to crack the top five in the standings with two consecutive victories over the competition’s weakest teams, Bolivia and Venezuela, in the final two games.

The match against Bolivia, which is scheduled for Thursday evening in Barranquilla, should provide an excellent opportunity for the hosts to improve their appalling attacking.

Colombia failed to score in seven subsequent World Cup qualifying matches, none of which featured two or more goals.

Bolivia conceded as many as seven goals in their previous two defeats to Venezuela and Chile, and we believe the time has come for Rueda’s men to shine up front.

Additionally, Bolivia’s away record is dismal, with two draws and six defeats in eight road matches during the current qualifying campaign.

Cesar Farias’s team has conceded 25 goals in eight away matches (more than three per game and more than any other team in the competition).

Colombia vs Bolivia – Betting Analysis

Colombia cannot afford to make a mistake in this area. We anticipate them dominating the pitch from start to finish and cruising to an easy victory on Thursday night.

Along with a comprehensive home victory, we’ll back Luis Diaz to score anytime at odds of 1.61, as the former Porto forward has been outstanding for Liverpool since his January arrival.
