Real Madrid’s top brass are pleased with Carlo Ancelotti and want to keep him at the Bernabeu beyond his current contract, so a new deal with the club may be on the horizon.

Ancelotti’s current deal, which expires in 2024, isn’t even halfway through it yet, but, according to Marca, efforts are being made to bind the 63-year-old to the European champions for an extended period of time.

The Italian had a productive campaign the previous year, leading Madrid to their fourteenth Champions League victory when they defeated Liverpool in June, as well as the Supercopa de Espana, LaLiga, and other victories.

Real Madrid wants Carlo Ancelotti to stay, so the club may extend him a new contract.

He has enjoyed an undefeated start to the season thus far, winning four of four LaLiga matches, as well as the opening group game against Celtic in their Champions League defense.

When Ancelotti took over as manager in June 2021 after Zinedine Zidane, it was thought of as a temporary move. He had a difficult job ahead of him as he replaced one of Madrid’s most successful managers after a disappointing stint at Everton.

However, the four-time Champions League champion manager oversaw a change that has maintained Real’s winning ways and unified a dressing room filled with star players from around the world.
Since his return, Ancelotti has guided Real to four trophies, including a Champions League victory.

One of the best dressing rooms the club has ever seen, according to sources at the club, is to blame for the current atmosphere. Ancelotti was able to resolve the problems involving players like Isco, Eden Hazard, the late Gareth Bale, and Marcelo.

The former Italian international has also been successful without enlisting the aid of household names. Only David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga were brought in by the club in 2021, followed by Aurelian Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger this summer.

Additionally, he has received praise for enhancing Viniscus Jr. and Rodrygo’s performances as well as extending the careers of veterans Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos.

Carlo Ancelotti had a tough act to follow in terms of success after Zinedine Zidane.

Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, is pleased with the current manager’s second stint at the club, where he has led the team to victories in four of the five competitions he has managed them in, with their most recent victory coming in the Super Cup victory earlier this month.
Ancelotti has a 73% win percentage during this winning streak since taking over a little more than a year ago. almost matching the 75% he attained in Madrid during his initial stay.

The LaLiga front-runners play Real Mallorca at home tomorrow afternoon in an attempt to make it five wins in a row.
