FCSB needs to win in order to keep their hopes of making it to the knockout round alive, but given that they have never even managed to score in an away H2H (D1, L2), they’ll undoubtedly travel in fear even if there isn’t any chance of crowd unrest should they find themselves ahead. However, given that they have only scored once during the group stage (D1, L3) and are 14 points behind the lead in Liga 1 in Romania, it looks doubtful (W5, D5, L3).
Although they ended their previous-to-last away game with eight men on the field, discipline must be maintained because the UECL only scored once, the opening goal in a 3-1 loss at West Ham. As a result, they have the potential to cause issues.
