Premier League fixtures: Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, and more’s 2022-23 season is here
The 2022-23 Premier League season will kick off on August 5 with a London derby between Crystal Palace and Arsenal, with Erik ten Hag taking charge at home against Brighton. On a Friday night (8 p.m. kick-off), Arsenal travel to London for the Premier League’s season opener. This was also the case last season, although Brentford defeated them 2-0.
At Selhurst Park, the Gunners are hoping to make amends for their 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Eagles in April. On August 5, the new Premier League season begins with a match between Crystal Palace and Arsenal.
Erik ten Hag takes charge of Manchester United for the first time on August 7 against Brighton at Old Trafford. Having finished second to Fulham in the Championship, Bournemouth has the benefit of hosting Aston Villa on the season’s opening day (August 6, 3pm). London Stadium will play host to the season’s first match between West Ham United and Manchester City on Saturday, August 5. The title race could be affected by City vs. Liverpool on April 1, 2023. Manchester City hosts Chelsea in week 16 (May 20, 2023). Neutrals want a replay of last season’s drama, when Manchester City overcame Aston Villa to win the Premier League.
